I'm concerned about making patients suffering from eating disorders a source of entertainment. It must be possible to offer "the possibility to see food-based issues in a new light" without exposing vulnerable people to a massive television audience.

I have a hard enough time talking, never mind having to do it in front of a camera. I do think, however, that these people sign up for this sort of stuff. They like to get that pseudo celeb status.

Oprah will always find a way to get people to talk about things that are hard to talk about. That's why she's a media-empire unto herself.
